Project Background:

Kunshan Mapleson Packaging Co., Ltd., a leader in high-end packaging brands insured by FM Global, chose Shanghai Weiwang Technology’s self-developed FM-certified Quick-Fit Backless Flood Door as their flood protection solution.

Project Highlights:

The main challenge of this project was that the loading dock could not accommodate traditional flood doors. To address this, we specially designed Quick-Fit Backless Flood Doors, providing maximum flood protection during floods and preventing the warehouse from being inundated.

This flood door features a unique design that does not require additional diagonal braces for widths not exceeding 6 meters, thus avoiding space constraints caused by braces and ensuring the normal operation of the loading dock.

Project Conclusion:

This project successfully passed FM standard static water and hydrostatic spray tests, demonstrating the excellent waterproof performance of the Quick-Fit Backless Flood Doors. We believe our client will have greater confidence in facing future flood threats from adverse weather conditions.
