Shanghai Weiwang provides professional flood structure calculation and analysis services to ensure the safety of buildings facing flood threats. According to the FM1-40 standard, when the flood height exceeds 0.9 meters, calculation and analysis of the existing building structure are required in addition to the design and installation of flood doors. We analyze and calculate the strength of the existing building structure based on 500-year flood data for the building’s location. If the results show that the original structure cannot meet flood control requirements, we propose the addition of flood barriers to work with the flood doors to resist floods. Structural calculations for the newly added barriers are then conducted to ensure their strength and stability meet flood control needs. Through this series of analyses and calculations, we provide a tailor-made flood control solution for buildings, ensuring the maximum protection of the building and its internal assets.
